Home Improvements: DIY: BUILD YOUR OWN DESK OUT OF WOOD AND METAL

material

– Worktop (original: 260 x 80 x 4 cm / cut: 150 x 80 x 2.7 cm) – Steel square tube (5 pieces: 150x4x2 cm with a wall thickness of 3 mm) – primer spray – black spray paint

Cut square tube After the welding there was a first rehearsal.

We welded on metal discs with pre-drilled holes and countersinks for the appropriate screws for later attachment of the worktop.

We processed the edges of the worktop (which were really very sharp-edged) with the router and a round cutter.

The worktop was then sanded and waxed. The grain of the wood came out beautifully.

And in the end the table frame was screwed together.
